Brightness & Colors

The UHD 60 is built to a max of 3000 lumens so it can be seen well in rooms that have some lighting.

The projector has a range of zoom and shift. I wish it had more horizontal action, but at this price point you can t have everything.

Generally speaking, this projector is one of the more accessible ones out there. I appreciate how easy it was to get the image squared up with a full set of controls in a menu and helpful test patterns.

Image Quality

Getting someone with the UHD 60″ projector, you need to be several feet away due to its range and size. If you go for something a little smaller like the 40″, then it is much more feasible to have them sit at a closer distance.

There are good and bad aspects to both models, but for the time being let’s take a look at the back of the p rojectors.

Now we’re looking at the back of the UHD 50, and here are all the inputs now. Note that this might not be a final production model–the actual labels may change–but what you have should give you a good idea of what kinds of things to expect. For example, note RS-232 on the 50.

There are two inputs for HDMI, both of which are 2.0 4K compliant, as well as VGA input and SPDIF coaxial audio.
